Love Child

Front and center is little Ray-ray (the name her big brother keeps calling her lately). This little girl has eaten Love Child Organics food for a few months and devours it every time. When I first started her on solids, I went to the grocery store to look for pouches that I could have for “on-the-go”. I saw Love Child Organics and remembered they were a local brand so picked a few different flavours up. The first pears and first apples were awesome for introducing Rayne to solids. I would mix it with Love Child’s Oats and Chia infant cereal and she loved it. Rayne still eats the Oats and Chia cereal for breakfast and now I can even add some fresh blueberries cut in half. They also have a Buckwheat and Chia cereal that is so quick and easy to make.

As a mom of three, I find that sometimes I don’t have time to make fresh, pureed food for my baby. Or when I do have some free time sometimes, I want to spend it doing other things with my kids. That’s why I love having the Love Child pouches ready to use at any time. Our favourite flavours have been the Superblends! Pears, Carrot, Green Beans and Prunes blend, as well as the Apples, Strawberries, Beets and Blueberries were Rayne’s favourites. Both of these flavours are amazing but honestly, Rayne has eaten every single flavoured pouch that Love Child makes and she enjoyed each one! Sometimes, before I switched to the Love Child Brand, I would find that she wouldn’t eat some flavours of pouches. However, she has loved every single one from Love Child, what a BONUS!

The Bananas, Coconut, Mangoes and Carrots blend is a perfect breakfast pouch. Even my 4 and 6 year old love the coconut flavours and are often asking to help “feed” Rayne, when I know they secretly want to sneak a few bites in. Rayne is almost 9 months and we have been finishing her meals with a few Love Ducks. We had never tried these before and Rayne starts kicking with joy when she sees me bringing out the pack at the end of the meal.

There are lots of baby food brands out there on the shelves but we would just want to strongly encourage you to try Love Child as we have tried their food and can attest to not only its taste but the peace of mind knowing you are feeding your babies with nutrionally-focused, organic and wholesome ingredients. You will never find any refined sugars, additives, preservatives or fillers in any of their products and for that we are SO grateful.
