Album Release Party: Brie King
/Summer nights can’t be beat and Friday night was no different. Our sister, Brie King released her debut album First Things First and we got to party and celebrate with some of her closest friends. Hearing our sister sing her songs LIVE for the first in front of a crowd not only filled us with joy, but got us dancing, eating, drinking and laughing.
The night became a party when our friends at Steamworks Brewing and Red Truck Beer decided to hop on board and support us and Brie King for this album release party. We already drink both of these beers so we knew they would be perfect to share as we hosted the event.
Steamworks Brewing - Not only do these guys make great beer but they also have an amazing Brew Pub that overlooks the Vancouver Harbour. They have a one-of-a-kind steam generated brewery that you just have to taste for yourself because it just hits different. And if you are looking for beer to serve at an album release party or in the backyard with friends, this is it. We had our friends on Friday try all sorts of Steamworks Beer and some of the favourites were the Hazy Pale Ale, Lions Gate Lager, and the Kolsch Lagered Ale.
Red Truck Beer - This is our go-to for a summer beer! They have such a great selection of beer that is just simply well-made, and we tend to gravitate towards their adventure mix packs but I have also yet to drink one of their beers I don’t like. Red Truck Beer is made with 4 basic ingredients and frankly a beer that you need to have in your fridge. They even have a lighter option for those looking.
