Rayne is 1

Like many families this year, our birthday party for our 1 year old looked very different from past birthdays. However, it was just as special and meaningful and we loved being able to give thanks for our sweet little Rayne. She was our ray of sunshine after a few years of uncertainty and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We created a small “we love you berry much” table sharing a few sweets and treats. Although we didn’t have a huge party with all of our family and friends, we still wanted to set up something beautiful to celebrate the special day. Our backdrop was a simple palette of soft pinks and reds to highlight the strawberry theme. We used Talking Tables Rose Balloons to create a gorgeous balloon garland. All of our guests took home a white berry basket from Bottle Cap Co on Etsy filled with a set of homemade cookies from Katrina’s cookies as a way of saying thank you for celebrating our Rayne. Bottle Cap Co has every container imaginable for a party and their products were incredible, plus they are Canadian!

As a favour, my cousin created beautiful water-colour painted strawberry, flower and leaf cookies for our guests to take home. Our guests filled their Mix and Match pink striped treat cups from Talking Tables with fresh berries and popcorn.

We served an angel food cake topped with fresh strawberries and a tall blush pink pastel candle from Talking Tables and their Rose Plates and Strawberry Fields Napkins were the perfect serving accompaniment.

It was a such a wonderful day and another reminder of how blessed we are to have apart of our family.
