Shine Your Way into the Holidays

The day after Jake's birthday, Nov. 13th and immediately he starts asking how many days until Christmas. I can't blame him because I have the same magical anticipation of my most favourite time of the year. There is something so special about a season of remembering, honouring, giving, sharing, and spending time with those you love. 

This year our kids will be shining their way into the holiday season with some adorable outfits from Crazy 8. What I love about Crazy 8's clothes, especially their holiday collection, is that it is so easy to mix and match pieces to create different looks. Cairo's plaid shirt is adorable buttoned up for a family photo or event, but it can also be left undone with a plain white tee underneath for some gingerbread house decorating or baking Christmas cookies. 

I may be slightly jealous of Kinsleys adorable long sleeve - nothing like a little sparkle during the holiday season. This year, with Kinsley and Cairo both being two, we are so eager to see their little eyes light up from all the glow and cheer that Christmas brings....and opening presents Christmas morning just doesn't get much better with little kids!

We are looking forward to taking our kids to some Christmas events over the holiday season and with Jake, a pair of jeans, a long sleeve, and a coat is the perfect outfit for these BC winters. Some of our favourite events include a Christmas train ride, chopping down our live Christmas tree, driving around to look at lights, and even a Christmas movie at home in some pj's.
