Kinsley is 5

Birthdays this year have look a whole lot different. Fortunately, Kinsley’s birthday was back in September and she was able to have 2 friends over to help her celebrate her special day! Kinsley loves everything to do with gardens. She loves planting feeds, picking flowers, arranging flowers, looking for bugs and most of all, finding butterflies. So naturally, she wanted a fairy/garden/butterfly party .

We thought it would be fun for everyone to make their own fairy garden to take home. So, we gathered a few supplies such as pots, dirt and rocks, along with our favourite figurines, Safari Toobs. Safari has such a wide variety of Toobs filled with every sort of figurine you can imagine from animals, to trains, cars, outer space and even history items.

For this particular project, we used the Friendly Fairies, Flower, Backyard Birds and Butterfly Toobs along with a few bags of the Good Luck Minis. We first added a bit of dirt to the pot, sprinkled in some colourful glitter and then began adding all of our figurines from Safari. Kinsley loved adding, arranging and then re arranging all of her items.

It turned out to be a beautiful keepsake and take home item for her friends. You could do so many different variations on this idea as well. We even thought you could make an ocean themed terrarium or a jungle safari! The options are truly endless. Happy creating.
