Fall Update From Us!
/I’m sure your fall plans may look different than they did a year ago or even from 2019 and the same goes for us. Both of our families are undertaking new career paths, new schooling plans, and we wanted to take a few photos with our kids to show how everyone has grown!
We are also both outfitted in some pre-fall clothing from RW&CO and we both found some great transitional pieces for heading back to work or casual wear for home.
Cairo - 5, heading to grade 1 this year and a new Olympics fanatic.
Ezri - 3, is a mini mom around our house and doesn’t like to partake in any summer activity that involves water.
Kovie - 2, gets excited about anything, best waver, almost never naps but almost always needs it.
Cruz - teething, learned to scream and still not walking. Slowly becoming the least favourite.
Lauren - This fall I will be homeschooling my kids and continuing to be a stay at home mom. I know this is a choice and a privilege and I am grateful that we feel such peace with the decision to be the primary educators to our children. Obviously homeschooling brings a huge adjustment to family life and I am looking forward to the flexibility we have to choose our curriculum, take field trips any day, and not rush out anywhere in the mornings.
Chelsea - My kiddos are going back to school this September. We loved our year of homeschooling and will hopefully do it again down the road. We are excited to be apart of school community, enjoy a big playground and make new friends. I also get to be at the same school as my kids this year, teaching one day a week and I am looking forward to spending some quality time with Rayne at home as well.
When you are working in an Elementary school, you have to wear clothes that are formal yet allow you to bend down and help a child. These slim ankle pants with elastic back from RW&CO are going to work well for me as I head back into teaching because they are dressy but also have some nice stretch to them and are really comfortable.
This mauve coloured bomber jacket I just think really works for me. It’s lightweight and is just my favourite colour these days. This is such a great topper for Fall from RW&CO and I paired it with a causal white t-shirt underneath and some darker jeans for an easy outfit to wear to the playground or to run errands.
There are so many options out there for Education, work, and family life, and we hope whatever direction is best for you and your family that you choose to thrive and work hard this Fall! You can find us choosing to be content each day (or trying to be!) and looking for ways that we can serve others and be joyful at school, work, and at home.
