The Sweetest Little Valentines

Ah! We have all the heart eyes with this brunch we hosted with our little kiddos. Ok yes we are biased but we think they are just the cutest :)
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, we wanted to inspire you with a few simple ideas to love on your littles. Yes it can be an over-marketed, money grabbing day but we also think Valentine's Day can be special;  a day to remind your children how you cherish them and an even bigger reminder of how important it is to show love to others.

We capitalized on the heart theme and made heart-shaped raspberry sandwiches with Little Big Bread and The Big 16 Bread from Silver Hills Bakery. The sandwiches are miniature and so cute and I know that the bread they are eating is full of sprouted grains and protein. We cut some fruit into heart shapes for a little pop of fun! Plus I feel like all the kids ate more than usual because of their heart shaped food #momwin

As a little gift of love we had a new book for each child. Our favourite books are Priddy Books, seriously the bomb! They have a huge range of books from itty bitty board books to giant sticker books, counting books and many more. These mini Valentine themed books were the perfect treat at our party and our kids were so surprised!

For me, you can't have a Valentine's party without a little bit of chocolate. Lindt makes the most delicious truffles in a variety of flavours; Milk, Coconut, White Chocolate and Strawberries and Cream. The colours were a perfect fit for our party. Our favourite was the Lindor Amour Heart Milk Chocolate - melt in your mouth delicious (aka already finished the box!)

We topped it all off with some fresh juice and Krusteaz blueberry muffins (of course heart shaped). Count me in to eat EVERYTHING on the table!

I am so grateful for my little Valentines, they truly are treasures from above. This Valentines we will spend time together as a family loving each other, loving others and eating a few chocolates!

How will you celebrate Valentines Day with your little ones this year?
