Summer Table Activities for Kids with Raincoast

Rounding out the summer with our last few ideas of things to do with your kids. So many of these items are great to do at your kitchen table, taken with you to a cabin, or brought along to a play-date. If any of these spark your kids’ interest, they can be found at our local Indigo shop or if you are not local you can find them online.

Mud Puppy - Some new exciting titles for summer activities that we think would be great: Pom Pom, Wild King card game - reminds us of the card game war we played as kids, but this version uses animals which makes it much more fun for kids.

Petit Collage - Creature Friends My Pom-Pom Friends - this would make a great craft project on a trip, in your backyard or at your kitchen table. Children can make their own animal using yarn and there is enough animals to share with friends. This could also make a great birthday gift!

Bugs and Butterflies Search and Find Puzzle - these are a favourite in our home for two reasons: the first, is that these puzzle pieces are sturdy and fit together beautifully and the second, is once you’re finished the puzzle, there is a search and find activity to complete.
