Snuggle Up with Valentine's Day Gift Ideas
Our kids have just finished preparing little Valentine’s cards for their homeschool community class and we have a few gift ideas for kids that we wanted to share with you as we are a week out from Valentine’s Day.
You can always tell when a stuffed animal is a Jellycat because they are the softest and incredibly cuddly. We love these Valentine’s themed ones such as the Loulou Love Bug, Bashful Red Love Heart Bunny, Aimee Sheep, Edmund Cream Bear and many others. A new stuffed animal is such a sweet gift for Valentine’s Day and Jellycat is definitely our favourite!
Djeco is always a favourite brand for us as they have so many craft kits, activities boxes and paper products that our kids love. A fun idea could be to give this journal with a personal Valentine’s note on the first page to your son or daughter. This beading kit includes everything you need right inside the box for an afternoon of jewelry design.
We just jumped on board to the Magna-Tiles train a few months ago and boy are we hooked! They get played with everyday in our home and spark so much creativity we can’t get enough. For Valentine’s Day, it is a joy to give a group gift to your kids and Magna-Tiles is definitely a gift for all ages in our household. We build race tracks, zoo enclosures, houses, etc. the ideas are endless. If you don’t already have some in your home or you are wanting to build on your collection, this is an amazing gift idea for February 14.
Flowers and chocolate are still a staple on Valentine’s Day and I love both but only the good kinds :)
Purdy’s just cannot be beat when it comes to chocolate. Their milk chocolate is easily our favourite but there are so many delicious options such as no sugar added or even vegan chocolates. The assorted chocolates favourite gift box is the perfect punch of red on Valentine’s Day and it is the best assortment. The Not Today Cupid Club has a variety of mini bars such as the Peanut Butter bar, Chocolate Chewy and even a few hedgehogs and sweet Georgia Browns. However, our kids are most looking forward to tasting the Peanut Butter hearts and Marshmallow hearts. The adorable heart shape makes them the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day.
We know that February 14 isn’t the only day we show people we love them but in our household it is another fun day to spread love and these are a few fun gift ideas this year for Valentine’s Day.
