Christmas for the Ladies
We have so many amazing women in our lives and we just want to buy gifts for every single one of them! We love buying quality presents and we wanted to share seven amazing companies that make a variety of products that would really make such an awesome gift for someone this Christmas. These are companies that we have been using for years and a couple new ones we found this year that we just can’t get enough of.
Zevia is a staple in our home. It tastes like pop but has zero sugar added. Zevia uses stevia as a sweetener and makes incredible flavours such as Rootbeer, Orange, Grape and Cream Soda. Recently Zevia launched two new flavours here in Canada; Dr. Zevia and Creamy Rootbeer. They are both incredible and would make the perfect festive drink.
Salt Spring Kitchen Co is a local company in Victoria that makes the most delicious spreads, jams, jellies and other goodies. When we moved this year, we were gifted a jar of their Hot Mango Spicy Pepper Spread in a housewarming basket and instantly fell in love. It was delicious. They have a wide variety of flavours such as Blueberry and Basil Preserve, Onion and Thyme Savoury Spread (awesome with a charcuterie platter), Candied Jalapeños, and Peach and Pepper Spicy Pepper Spread- the perfect blend of sweet and heat!
RW and CO is an all year favourite clothing store for both of us and winter their pieces really shine. The holiday Gift Guide for Men and Women by RW and Co is wonderful with everything from blazers, to sweaters and every winter accessory. The black blazer is a staple topper that every woman needs to have and RW and Co does suiting right. What inspired us the most, was all of their spongy, creamy, soft knits this season. So many different styles from the button up cropped cardigan, to the short puffed sleeved sweater. There is a colour and style for everyone and their pieces hold up because of their excellent quality year after year.
Do Good Paper Company is a Canadian company that specializes in stationary. They make the most beautiful journals, coiled notebooks and planners. Recently she launched a subscription box that you can purchase on its own or quarterly, filled with the most beautiful paper products. The Lists coiled notebook in burgundy is an excellent size for grocery lists, notes for the teacher and keeping track of all your Christmas gifts. However, our favourite piece is the Large Linen Journal. Most of the products come in different sizes and colour choices and the journal is beautiful for writing treasured memories.
We both use the same hairdresser and love her because she is the best! Our hairdresser recently used AG’s curl products in Ezri’s hair after getting a trim and it made her little curls shine and bounce. AG has a full hair care line including Peppermint Wash Shampoo, Conditioner, Tousled Texture finishing spray and Spray Gel (a thermal protection spray). They recently launched their vegan, plant based hand soap which is incredible!
We have been PUR gum fans for many years now. Back when we were pregnant, this was the only gum we found that didn’t have aspartame in it. We started enjoying it then and have continued to be huge fans ever since. Their mints are delicious as well and we share them with our kids as they are made with quality ingredients and are sugar-free, gluten-free, aspartame-free, vegan and nut-free. They have incredible flavours but our favourites are spearmint, polar mint, peppermint and our kids love tangerine tango.
This gorgeous print is made by Lily and Val. Valerie, the designer has been creating prints for years and we always fall in love with her holiday collection. You can choose prints in different sizes to fit your frames at home and they also make beautiful additions to gift baskets, wall decor and greeting cards. The Story of Christmas and the massive Peace on Earth print are our two favourites this year. Christmas Time in the City reminds me of the perfect holiday decorated street and A Very Merry Christmas print has a retro and nostalgic feel to it.
Finally, one of our favourite gifts this year are these robes from a Canadian company called All You Are. The fabric is so soft and exactly what I want to put on after a shower or when I get out of bed on these colder mornings. This is loungewear that I personally feel really beautiful in!
All You Are is also a company that gives back to an incredibly organization called Justice Mission Canada. 1% of the revenue generated from All You Are going to this organization that is dedicated to protecting children around the world from violence, slavery, sexual abuse and forced labour throughout the developing world.
