Party time!
Our littlest sister celebrated a birthday this week and we wanted to honour and bless her on this special day. Birthdays are a wonderful reason to get friends together, eat yummy treats and remind someone how loved they truly are! Here are a few pictures from our special evening for Brie.
We loved how our centrepiece turned out! We used a piece of an old peg board we had and added in some candles, fresh greenery, pom pons, handmade cupcake banners, washi tape flags, flowers etc. and it turned into a beautiful and fun pop of colour for our party. Super easy DIY and you could customize the colours or items for any occasion!
I will never get tired of using this Happy Birthday Banner from Talking Tables. It makes such a big statement and makes the room go from drab to fab!
Every party needs good snacks. We had all of Brie's favourites!
Brie girl loves her five cent candies, so instead of a cake we decided to do a "DIY candy cabob" station. Everyone loved it.
*TIP* - pre-soak your wood skewers in water before-hand so the candies slide on nice and don't get stuck!
My personal favourite treat of the night were these cupcakes made by our friend Malia. They were unbelievable! I ate way too many, including some for breakfast the next day :)
Brie, we love you so much! We wanted to remind you just how special you are to so many people. You have a voice of an angel, you are beautiful, you are a talented volleyball player, but most importantly you truly have a heart of gold. Your humbleness and graciousness towards others is inspiring and we are so proud to call you our sister! Happy Birthday Brie Girl! Mwah!
